‘No More Champagne’ autumn tour of US and Canada
Details have just been released of author David Lough’s speaking tour of the US and Canada this fall from 11 to 22 October 2017.
The tour starts at the International Churchill Society’s National Conference in New York where, in the shadow of Trump Tower, David will speak on ‘Churchill and the Art of the Deal.’ The following evening, Thursday 12 October, he will lecture in the same city for the Royal Oak Foundation, at an event in aid of the National Trust of England’s Chartwell appeal.
On Friday 13 October, David will speak in the evening at the Nantucket Athenaeum in an event organised by the National Trust for Scotland USA.
On Monday 16 October at 7 p.m. David will lecture again for the Royal Oak Foundation and its Chartwell appeal at the Union League of Philadelphia. On Tuesday 17th October he will appear in Boston for the National Trust for Scotland.
On Wednesday 18th October David will speak in Ottawa, Canada for the International Churchill Society, Ottawa branch.
He returns to the USA on Thursday 19th October to speak in Milwaukee for the International Churchill Society in Wisconsin; and will give a lunchtime lecture at the University Club of Chicago at 12 noon on Friday 20 October.
The tour finishes with a private talk to a forum of family shareholders in Calgary, Canada on Sunday 22 October.
