Darling Winston letters book to be launched at Churchill’s London Library

Darling Winston, a collection of the letters between Winston Churchill and his American mother Jennie Jerome, wil be launched next Thursday 20 September at the London Library, a private members’ library in St James’s Square, London. Churchill was a member of the library during his ‘wilderness years’ of the 1930s while he was writing and he remained a member as prime minister throughout the 1939-45. The launch will be attended by members of the Churchill family.
Darling Winston is published in the UK by Head of Zeus and is edited by David Lough, the historian who wrote No More Champagne: Churchill and His Money.
